Ingredients

  • 2 cups brewed coffee chilled
  • 1/2 cup fresh strawberries
  • 6-8 fresh basil leaves
  • 1-2 tablespoons honey or any sweetener of your choice
  • Ice cubes
  • 1/4 cup milk or cream optional, but we’re all adults here

Instructions

  • Brew your coffee and let it cool. You could also use cold brew if you’ve got your life together.
  • In a blender, combine the strawberries, basil leaves, and honey. Blend until smooth.
  • Strain the strawberry-basil mixture to get rid of the pulp. No one wants that floating around in their coffee.
  • In a glass filled with ice cubes, pour the chilled coffee.
  • Add the strawberry-basil mixture and stir well.
  • Top with milk or cream if you’re feeling fancy—or just to mess with your friends.
  • Sip and enjoy the judgmental stares of those who don’t appreciate genius.
