- 1 cup brewed espresso or strong coffee
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp peppermint extract
- 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
- Whipped cream for topping
- Crushed peppermint candies for garnish
Brew 1 cup of espresso using your espresso machine or coffee maker.
In a saucepan, combine 1 cup of milk, 2 tbsp cocoa powder, and 2 tbsp sugar.
Heat the mixture over medium heat, whisking until smooth and warm.
Stir in 1/2 tsp peppermint extract and 1/4 tsp vanilla extract.
Pour the espresso into two mugs, filling them halfway.
