Ingredients

  • 1 shot espresso or 1/2 cup strong brewed coffee
  • 1 cup non-dairy milk almond, oat, or coconut
  • 2 tablespoons pure maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon pecan butter or finely chopped toasted pecans
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract optional
  • Ground cinnamon for garnish, optional

Instructions

  • Brew Espresso: Brew a shot of espresso or 1/2 cup of strong coffee. Set aside—this is your base for pure caffeinated joy.
  • Heat Non-Dairy Milk: In a small saucepan, heat the non-dairy milk over medium heat until it’s warm but not boiling. Stir in the maple syrup and pecan butter until fully combined. Add vanilla extract if you’re feeling extra.
  • Froth the Milk: Froth the milk mixture using a frother or whisk until it’s creamy and light. If you don’t have a frother, just skip this step—less froth, more smugness.
  • Combine and Serve: Pour the espresso into your coffee mug. Gently pour the frothed milk over the espresso. Garnish with a sprinkle of ground cinnamon if you’re in the mood to impress.
  • Sip and Enjoy: Admire your latte creation. Sip slowly to savor the blend of maple and pecan flavors.
