For the Maple Banana Bread:

  • Ripe bananas: 3 medium mashed
  • Maple syrup: ½ cup
  • All-purpose flour: 1 ¾ cups
  • Baking powder: 1 teaspoon

  • Ground cinnamon: 1 teaspoon
  • Brown sugar: ½ cup

Instructions
 

  • Step 1: Preheat and Prepare
  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a 9x5 loaf pan with parchment paper.
  • Step 2: Mix Dry Ingredients

  • In another bowl, mash bananas and mix in maple syrup, brown sugar, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract until smooth.

  • Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet mixture. Stir until just combined. Avoid overmixing.
  • Step 5: Bake
  • Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Bake for 50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  • Step 6: Prepare Coffee Drizzle
  • In a small saucepan, mix powdered sugar, brewed coffee, melted butter, and a pinch of salt until smooth.
  • Step 7: Drizzle and Cool
  • Once the bread has cooled, drizzle the coffee glaze over the top. Allow it to set before slicing.
