Ingredients
  

For Iced Green Tea Latte:

  • 2 cups brewed green tea chilled
  • 1/2 cup milk or milk alternative almond, oat, etc.
  • 1 tbsp honey or sugar optional
  • Ice cubes

For Lemon Sugar Cookies:

  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tsp lemon zest
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup sanding sugar for coating

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a bowl, cream together butter and sugar until smooth.
  • Add the egg, lemon zest, and lemon juice, mixing well.
  • Combine the flour, baking soda, and salt in another bowl.
  • Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture.
  • Scoop dough into small balls and roll in sanding sugar.
  • Place on a baking sheet and flatten slightly.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden.
  • For the latte, brew green tea and let it cool.
  • Pour cooled tea over ice, add milk, and sweeten as desired.
  • Serve the cookies warm alongside the chilled latte.
