Honey Iced Coffee

Morgan James Eckroth
I usually whip up this delightful concoction on lazy Sunday afternoons when I’m feeling fancy. There’s something magical about the way the honey blends with the coffee, making each sip a heavenly experience. Plus, it's the perfect pick-me-up after a long week. I might be a bit selfish about it, but can you blame me?

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of cold brew coffee
  • 1/2 cup of milk dairy or your favorite plant-based milk
  • 2 tablespoons of honey
  • Ice cubes
  • Optional: a dash of cinnamon or nutmeg for that extra kick

Instructions

  • Brew Coffee: Brew a strong cup of coffee and let it cool, or grab some cold brew for convenience.
  • Prepare Ice: Fill your favorite glass or mason jar with ice cubes. You need that chill factor!
  • Mix Honey: Stir 2 tablespoons of honey into your cold coffee until it’s fully dissolved. This might take a bit of patience, but trust me, it’s worth it.
  • Combine: Pour the honeyed coffee over the ice, then add 1/2 cup of milk. Stir well to combine.
  • Spice It Up: If you’re feeling adventurous, sprinkle a dash of cinnamon or nutmeg on top. It adds a nice touch of warmth to the drink.
