- 1 cup strong brewed espresso or 2 shots espresso
- 1 ½ cups mascarpone cheese
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ¼ cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 24 ladyfingers
- Cocoa powder for dusting
Prepare Espresso: Brew the espresso or make two shots of espresso. Let it cool down.
Whip Cream: In a mixing bowl, beat heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla until stiff peaks form.
Mix Mascarpone: In another bowl, mix mascarpone cheese until smooth.
Combine: Fold whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture gently.
Soak Ladyfingers: Dip ladyfingers one by one in cooled espresso. Do not soak them too long.
Layer: In a 9x9-inch baking dish, layer soaked ladyfingers, then mascarpone mixture. Repeat the layers.
Chill: Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight for best results.
Serve: Dust with cocoa powder before serving. Enjoy!
