Ingredients
  

For the Espresso Macchiato:

  • 1 shot espresso
  • 1/4 cup steamed milk
  • 1/4 cup milk foam

For the Coffee Sugar Cookies:

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp instant coffee
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup butter softened
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar

Instructions
 

  • Brew a shot of espresso and pour into a small cup.
  • Steam milk and foam it up.
  • Pour the steamed milk over the espresso and top with foam.
  • For the cookies: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a bowl, combine flour, instant coffee, baking soda, and salt.
  • In a separate bowl, cream butter, sugar, and brown sugar.
  • Add the egg and vanilla extract. Mix well.
  • Stir in the dry ingredients.
  • Drop spoonfuls of dough on a baking sheet.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes until golden.
  • Let cookies cool on a rack.
  • Serve the macchiato with cookies and enjoy!
