Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9-inch pan.
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  • In another bowl, beat together sour cream, egg, butter, and vanilla.
  • Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until smooth.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
  • Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  • Let it cool, then serve.
