- 1 box of strawberry cake mix plus ingredients to prepare
- 2 pints of strawberry ice cream
- 1 cup of whipped cream
- 1/4 cup of strawberry syrup optional
Bake the strawberry cake according to the box instructions. Let it cool.
Slice the cooled cake into two layers.
Soften the strawberry ice cream and spread a layer over the bottom cake layer.
Add a drizzle of strawberry syrup, if desired.
Place the second cake layer on top and freeze for 1 hour.
Frost the cake with whipped cream and add more syrup if you like.
