I love whipping this up when I need a pick-me-up that’s both elegant and indulgent. Whether it’s a lazy weekend or an after-work treat, the Cold Brew Latte is my go-to for instant gratification. Plus, it’s the perfect excuse to flaunt my barista skills—because who doesn’t love a bit of coffee envy?

Ingredients
  

Cold Brew Base:

  • 1/2 cup cold brew coffee
  • 1/2 cup water

Latte Mix:

  • 1/2 cup milk whole, skim, or your favorite non-dairy option
  • 1 tablespoon simple syrup adjust to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract optional, but highly recommended

To Finish:

  • Ice cubes

  • Brew the Cold Brew: Combine coarsely ground coffee with cold water in a jar. Let it steep in the fridge for 12 hours. Strain through a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth. Voila! You’ve got cold brew.
  • Prepare the Milk: Froth or whisk the milk until it's nice and frothy. You can heat it slightly if you prefer a warmer latte.
  • Mix it Up: Fill a glass with ice cubes. Pour in the cold brew coffee and top it with the frothy milk. Add simple syrup and vanilla extract if using. Stir gently to combine.
