This recipe yields a delicious and smooth cold brew decaf coffee using a Moka pot.

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup coarsely ground decaf coffee beans
  • 2 cups filtered water

Instructions
 

Without Moka pot

  • Add coarsely ground decaf coffee beans to a container with a lid.
  • Pour filtered water into the container.
  • Stir the mixture well.
  • Cover the container tightly.
  • Place the container in the fridge for 12-24 hours to steep.
  • Remove the container from the fridge.
  • Strain the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve or coffee filter.
  • Dilute the cold brew concentrate with water or milk to your desired taste.
  • Serve and enjoy!

With Moka pot

  • Add the coarsely ground decaf coffee beans to the Moka pot basket.
  • Pour the filtered water into the bottom chamber of the Moka pot.
  • Screw the top chamber of the Moka pot onto the bottom chamber.
  • Place the Moka pot in the fridge and allow the coffee to steep for 12-24 hours.
  • After the coffee has steeped, remove the Moka pot from the fridge and unscrew the top chamber.
  • Dilute the cold brew concentrate with water or milk to taste and serve.

Notes

To enhance the flavor of the cold brew decaf coffee, try adding a splash of vanilla extract or a sprinkle of cinnamon to the cold brew concentrate before diluting it with water or milk. You can also experiment with different types of decaf coffee beans to find your favorite flavor profile.
