Ingredients
  

  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1 scoop vanilla or chocolate protein powder
  • ¼ cup almond milk or milk of choice
  • 1 shot espresso or ¼ cup cold brew coffee
  • 1 tablespoon almond butter optional, for creaminess
  • ½ teaspoon cocoa powder optional, for extra chocolate flavor
  • Favorite toppings granola, fresh berries, nuts, etc.

Instructions
 

Blend the Base

  • In a blender, combine the frozen banana, protein powder, almond milk, espresso, almond butter, and cocoa powder.

Blend Until Smooth

  • Blend until creamy and thick. Add a bit more almond milk if needed to reach desired consistency.

Serve in a Bowl

  • Pour the smoothie into a bowl, smoothing it out with a spoon.
