Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons instant coffee granules
  • 1/4 cup vanilla protein powder
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions
 

  • Combine Sugar and Water
  • In a medium saucepan, mix the granulated sugar and water over medium heat. Stir gently until the sugar dissolves.
  • Cook the Mixture
  • Allow the mixture to boil without stirring. Watch for the color to turn golden brown, about 5-7 minutes.
  • Add Cream and Coffee
  • Remove from heat and carefully whisk in the heavy cream and instant coffee granules. Be cautious; it may bubble vigorously!
  • Mix in Protein Powder
  • Stir in the vanilla protein powder and unsalted butter until smooth. Add a pinch of salt to balance the sweetness.
  • Cool and Store
  • Let the sauce cool for a few minutes. Transfer to an airtight container and refrigerate for later use.
