Ingredients
  

For the Coffee Mousse

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ¼ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tbsp instant coffee dissolved in 1 tbsp hot water
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ tsp gelatin bloomed in 1 tbsp cold water

For the Chocolate Shavings

  • 1 oz dark chocolate chilled

Instructions
 

Prepare the Mousse

  • Whip heavy cream until soft peaks form.
  • Add powdered sugar and continue whipping until stiff peaks form.
  • Gently fold in dissolved coffee and vanilla extract.
  • Melt bloomed gelatin over low heat until dissolved.
  • Fold gelatin into mousse and mix gently.
  • Spoon into serving glasses and chill for 2 hours.

Make the Chocolate Shavings

  • Use a grater or peeler to create thin chocolate curls.
  • Sprinkle over the mousse before serving.
