  • 2 tbsp brewed coffee cooled
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven: Set your oven to 375°F (190°C), and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Prepare the filling: Beat the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth and creamy.
  • Roll out the dough: Unroll the puff pastry on a floured surface, cutting it into 8 squares.
  • Fill the dough: Place a dollop of the cream cheese mixture in the center of each pastry square.
  • Shape the Danish: Fold the corners of each pastry over the filling, leaving a little opening in the center.
  • Brush with egg wash: Beat the egg and brush over the pastries to give them a golden finish.
  • Bake: Place in the oven for 18-20 minutes, until golden brown and puffed.
  • Make the glaze: Mix cooled coffee with powdered sugar until smooth.
  • Glaze the Danish: Drizzle the coffee glaze over the warm pastries.
