  • 1 cup decaf coffee
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 2 whole egg whites

Instructions
 

  • Begin by melting the chocolate in a double boiler or in a heat-proof bowl set over a pot of simmering water.
  • Brew a strong cup of decaf coffee and allow it to cool.
  • Add the cooled coffee and vanilla extract to the melted chocolate and mix until smooth.
  • In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until it forms soft peaks.
  • Add the whipped cream to the chocolate mixture and fold until well combined.
  • In another bowl, beat the egg whites until they form soft peaks.
  • Gently fold the egg whites into the chocolate mixture.
  • Pour the mixture into 4 serving dishes and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until set.
  • Garnish with shaved dark chocolate or a sprinkle of cocoa powder before serving.
