  • Baking powder: 1 tsp
  • Sugar: ¾ cup
  • Eggs: 2
  • Milk: ½ cup
  • Vegetable oil: ¼ cup
  • Vanilla extract: 1 tsp

For the Ice Cream Layer:

  • Chocolate chip ice cream: 4 cups softened
  • Vanilla ice cream: 4 cups softened

For the Chocolate Topping:

  • Semi-sweet chocolate chips: ½ cup
  • Heavy cream: ½ cup

Instructions
 

Prepare the Cake Layer:

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a bowl, mix flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and sugar.
  • Add eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla extract, stirring until smooth.
  • Pour into a greased 9-inch pan and bake for 25-30 minutes. Let it cool completely.

Add the Ice Cream Layer:

  • Soften the chocolate chip and vanilla ice cream.
  • Spread the chocolate chip ice cream over the cooled cake and freeze for 1-2 hours.
  • Add the vanilla ice cream on top and freeze for 2-3 more hours.

Prepare the Chocolate Topping:

  • In a small saucepan, heat heavy cream until simmering.
  • Pour over chocolate chips and stir until smooth.
  • Drizzle the chocolate topping over the frozen cake.
  • Freeze for 30 minutes before serving.
