Cake:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup butter softened
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
Streusel Topping:
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 cup butter melted
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch baking pan.
Cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in vanilla and cinnamon.
In another bowl, mix flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
Add dry ingredients alternately with milk to the wet mixture.
Fold in chocolate chips.
In a separate bowl, mix streusel ingredients.
Pour half of the batter into the pan, sprinkle half the streusel. Add remaining batter, then top with streusel.
Bake for 40 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool before serving.
