Ingredients
  

For the Banana Bread:

  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

For the Coffee Syrup Swirl:

  • ½ cup brewed coffee
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the Oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  • Mix Dry Ingredients: In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  • Mash Bananas: Mash the bananas with a fork in a separate bowl.
  • Combine Wet Ingredients: Add melted butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla to the mashed bananas.
  • Add Dry Ingredients: Slowly mix in the dry ingredients, then stir in the sour cream and chocolate chips.
  • Make Coffee Syrup: Combine brewed coffee, brown sugar, butter, and vanilla in a saucepan, simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Assemble and Bake: Pour half of the batter into the loaf pan, drizzle with coffee syrup, add the rest of the batter, and bake for 55-60 minutes.
  • Cool and Serve: Let the bread cool before slicing, then enjoy!
