I love serving this Blue Margarita with Lime Zest during our family celebrations and weekend get-togethers. They’re easy to whip up and bring a cheerful vibe to any occasion.

- 1 cup fresh lime juice about 6 limes
- 1/2 cup tequila
- 1/4 cup blue curaçao
- 1/4 cup simple syrup adjust to taste
- 1 tablespoon lime zest from 1 lime
- Ice cubes
- Lime wedges and salt for garnish
Juice the limes to get 1 cup of fresh lime juice.
Zest one lime to obtain 1 tablespoon of lime zest.
In a cocktail shaker, combine the lime juice, tequila, blue curaçao, and simple syrup.
Add ice cubes to the shaker and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds.
Strain the mixture into glasses filled with ice cubes.
Sprinkle lime zest over the top of each glass.
Garnish with lime wedges and a salted rim if desired. Serve immediately and enjoy!
