Ingredients
  

  • 1 box chocolate cake mix plus ingredients as directed
  • 3 cups mocha ice cream
  • 2 cups whipped cream
  • 1/2 cup crushed coffee-flavored chocolate candy optional, but come on, who can resist?

Instructions
 

  • Bake the chocolate cake and let it cool completely.
  • Slice the cake into two layers.
  • Soften the mocha ice cream, then spread over the first layer of cake.
  • Add whipped cream and sprinkle crushed coffee-flavored chocolate candy.
  • Top with the second layer of cake, then repeat with ice cream and whipped cream.
  • Freeze for 3-4 hours.
  • Garnish with extra crushed candy or chocolate syrup, if desired.
