Ingredients
  

For the Banana Bread:

  • 3 ripe bananas mashed
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt

For the Mocha Cream Cheese Swirl:

  • 4 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp brewed coffee
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  • In a bowl, mash the bananas and mix with melted butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla.
  • In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to the banana mixture.
  • For the mocha swirl, beat together cream cheese, powdered sugar, coffee, and cocoa powder until smooth.
  • Pour half the banana bread batter into the prepared pan, then add half of the mocha cream cheese mixture on top.
  • Swirl the mocha mixture into the banana batter using a knife or skewer.
  • Repeat with the remaining batter and mocha mixture, then swirl again.
  • Bake for 55 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  • Cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
