Ingredients
  

For the Banana Bread:

  • 3 ripe bananas mashed
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt

For the Coffee-Caramel Drizzle:

  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp heavy cream
  • 1 tbsp brewed coffee
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  • Mash the bananas in a bowl, then mix with softened butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to the banana mixture.
  • Pour the batter into the loaf pan and bake for 50 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  • While the bread is baking, prepare the coffee-caramel drizzle. In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.
  • Add brown sugar and stir until dissolved. Then, add heavy cream, brewed coffee, vanilla, and a pinch of salt.
  • Bring to a gentle simmer and cook for 2-3 minutes, until slightly thickened.
  • Once the bread is done, cool for 10 minutes, then drizzle the coffee-caramel sauce over the top.
  • Let the bread cool completely before slicing and serving.
