Optionally, fold in sliced almonds.

Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
Bake for 50 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean from the center.
Step 6: Cool
Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes.
Transfer to a cooling rack to cool completely.
Step 7: Prepare the Java Glaze
In a small bowl, whisk powdered sugar, brewed coffee, and vanilla extract until smooth.
Drizzle over the cooled banana bread.
