Ingredients
For the Coffee Panna Cotta
- 2 cups heavy cream
- ½ cup whole milk
- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- 1 ½ tsp instant espresso powder
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 ½ tsp gelatin powder
- 2 tbsp cold water
For the Coffee Mousse
- ¾ cup heavy cream
- 2 tbsp powdered sugar
- 1 tbsp instant espresso powder
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp gelatin optional, for stability
For Garnish
- Cocoa powder for dusting
- Dark chocolate shavings
Instructions
Prepare the Panna Cotta
- In a small bowl, sprinkle gelatin over cold water and let it bloom for 5 minutes.
- Heat cream, milk, sugar, and espresso powder in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir until sugar dissolves.
- Remove from heat and add vanilla extract.
- Whisk in bloomed gelatin until fully dissolved.
- Strain the mixture and pour into ramekins.
- Chill for at least 3 hours.
Make the Coffee Mousse
- Whip heavy cream, sugar, espresso powder, and vanilla extract until soft peaks form.
