Ingredients
  

Cake:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter softened
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Streusel Topping:

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup butter melted

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch baking pan.
  • Cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in vanilla and cinnamon.
  • In another bowl, mix flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  • Add dry ingredients alternately with milk to the wet mixture.
  • Fold in chocolate chips.
  • In a separate bowl, mix streusel ingredients.
  • Pour half of the batter into the pan, sprinkle half the streusel. Add remaining batter, then top with streusel.
  • Bake for 40 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool before serving.
