Instructions
Bake the Coffee Cake Layers
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line two 8-inch cake pans.
- Whisk flour, baking powder, and baking soda in a bowl.
- Cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla.
- Alternate adding dry ingredients and coffee-milk mixture. Mix until smooth.
- Divide batter between pans. Bake for 25-30 minutes.
