Ingredients
For the Banana Bread:
- 3 ripe bananas mashed
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
For the Mocha Cream Cheese Swirl:
- 4 oz cream cheese softened
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tbsp brewed coffee
- 1 tbsp cocoa powder
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
- In a bowl, mash the bananas and mix with melted butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla.
- In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to the banana mixture.
- For the mocha swirl, beat together cream cheese, powdered sugar, coffee, and cocoa powder until smooth.
- Pour half the banana bread batter into the prepared pan, then add half of the mocha cream cheese mixture on top.
- Swirl the mocha mixture into the banana batter using a knife or skewer.
- Repeat with the remaining batter and mocha mixture, then swirl again.
- Bake for 55 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
